Euthyneura zaitsevi sp.n.(Diptera: Hybotidae) is described from the Caucasus (Russia: Krasnodar Province, Republic of Adygea).The new species Tanks can be distinguished from other representatives of the genus by the following combination of characters: postpedicel of antenna trapezoid; scutum shining; wing largely infuscate, with large darker subrectangular area around stigma; in male halter with black knob and paler stem, in female halter pale; in Water Bottles male legs black to blackish brown, in female legs almost entirely yellow.
